I’m happiest outdoors — windswept on a wild coastline, halfway up a trail, or standing at the top of a hill in awe of a new view.

Just Adventure is my place to share adventures from my time in the USA, with a big focus on hiking, landscapes, and amazing outdoor moments. This is soft adventure and exploring a new land — inspired by a guide book, good boots, and a sense of wonder.

Alongside this blog, I am also a sustainability consultant specialising in tourism - more information on my sister brand Just Tourism. I help travel businesses understand their social and environmental impacts and make more responsible decisions — without the jargon or overwhelm.  You can’t care about sustainability without caring about the places you walk through in practice.

I’m a British military spouse, currently posted to California, and still slightly in awe of the scale of this place. The rugged coastline, vast open spaces and dramatic trails are a world away from the familiar British countryside I grew up exploring — and that contrast is exactly what makes it so exciting.
